When OBVIOUS Magazine editor Jerris Mogul called Cor.ece a musical underdog, he’d felt seen. It’s an identity he embraces in that “it is a place where creative truths live.”
Recently joining the roster of Brooklyn-based label Razor-N-Tape, Cor.ece [pronounced CORE-REESE] has been experiencing a watershed moment after joining forces with music industry pioneers Honey Dijon and Luke Soloman at Classic Music in London. Honey and Cor.ece’s first release, ‘Unleash,’ commissioned by Apple Music for Juneteenth, was dubbed “a Juneteenth banger” by Michael Cuby of THEM magazine. Their 2022 jazz-house track “Work,” has been a favorite around the world as Honey has ushered the track to thousands of crowds hungry for some good ass house music.

Cor.ece is a vocalist, songwriter, and creative conductor. Aside from his records, you can catch some of his musical vibes on the popular FANTI podcast, Season 3 of Showtime’s The Chi or on stages — like Defected Croatia 2021 and Razor-N-Tape’s perennial summer party, Hot Honey Sundays in Brooklyn.

With one full-length album, two EPs, and a gang of features, Core.ece is ready to share his latest single and music video for ‘‘Possibly Impossible’ featuring Dave Giles II of Classic Music, with the added special sauce of international producer, JKriv. This record takes you on a soul-bounce, sonic journey with vocal musings of wonderment. Are you ready for a seemingly impossible journey? Yeah, cool. Let’s go.

Ahead of a 2022 warm-weather EP release, ‘Possibly Impossible’ drops February 18th with a Crackazat-produced remix - all on Razor-N-Tape.
