Cor.Ece (pronounced COR-REESE)
Cor.Ece is a whole vibe — an LA-based DJ, recording artist, producer, and visual artist whose genre-blending sound and magnetic energy continue to redefine modern dance music.
He first broke through with Honey Dijon on her Defected singles “Unleash” and “Work,” before joining the Grammy-winning songwriting team behind Beyoncé’s “Cozy” from her groundbreaking 2022 album Renaissance.
Cor.Ece’s solo debut on Razor-N-Tape, the Dance To Keep From Crying EP (produced by JKriv), introduced his singular mix of soulful vocals, introspective storytelling, and dancefloor-ready production. In 2023, he directed and starred in Stand — a “smoldering and poetic” dance anthem for all times.
His 2024 collaborative album with Bad Colours, Been Here Before (Bastard Jazz), expanded his sonic universe with standout singles “Jeans” and “Mars” featuring Life on Planets. That same year, he closed out Defected Croatia Festival and toured Europe with Gavin Turek.
As a DJ, Cor.Ece continues to electrify crowds, headlining Kansas City Trans Pride and curating his own ever-growing party series, Dindada, where he spins music across eras and genres. In 2025, he returned to Defected Croatia to DJ on the Classic Music Company stage, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic performer and tastemaker.
Also in 2025, Cor.Ece was featured on the Netherlands-based group Makez’s album Arriving Home Elsewhere with the song “High,” and on Bad Colours’ Promise LP with “The Stranger.” He joined the LA Recording Academy Board as a Chapter Advisor, deepening his role as both an artist and advocate for creative community.
